Our raw cacao paste is certified organic, kosher, Non-GMO Project verified, fermented, and naturally gluten-free.
Hailed as the "Food of the Gods", cacao contains the highest concentration of magnesium and antioxidants of any food on the planet. Our cacao paste is made from the highly-prized Criollo beans that are grown under a canopy of shade trees in the fertile soil of Peru. In order to preserve the complex flavor profile and health benefits, the beans are carefully harvested, fermented, sun-dried, and ground into a paste. Our raw cacao paste has a deep flavor and luscious texture that can be used to make a variety of rich chocolate concoctions, including desserts, drinks, and confections.
As a quality-focused company, we test samples from all of our cacao lots at an accredited laboratory using plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). This method accurately tests for the levels of naturally occurring heavy metals present in cacao that includes lead and cadmium.

Storage Info: Refrigeration not required. Store in a cool, dark, dry place.
*Notice: Although our cacao paste is kept at the proper temperature here in our warehouse, sometimes during the warmer months of the year it can melt during transit to your doorstep. Unfortunately, this is not something we can control, and while this doesn't affect the flavor or usability of the product, we understand why you may want a replacement or refund.
